I’m all about affirmations.
Some people think they’re just lies you tell yourself until you start believing them.
In a way that’s kinda true.
But what’s more powerful than just believing them is when you actually start to act in a way that proves them to be true. This is one of the fascinating parts of the mind-brain connection that neuroscience is just starting to understand.
Essentially, your brain cannot determine fact or fiction based on thoughts alone.
This means your internal dialogue is shaping your existence in the world.
Said differently: your mind will believe whatever you consistently tell it. And then it will build an existence to support those beliefs.
It’s pretty powerful.
