Wow Carla that is really intense. I’m glad you put your foot down, although it is sad it got to that point. I really tried to focus on the positive parts of the bullying in my childhood in this article, but there was certainly a lot of anger and pain and frustration that took things way beyond a healthy level. Like you said, not holding onto that victim role and mindset through our lives is admirable, even though we were victimized at one point. Cheers to thickening our skin in the process!
